Sher-Wood Code IV Composite Hockey Stick - Senior Detailed Review
Detailed Review
The Sher-Wood Code IV Composite Hockey Stick is designed for senior players looking to enhance their gameplay. It incorporates advanced technology and features to deliver exceptional performance on the ice.
The stick is constructed using a blend of carbon fiber and fiberglass, making it lightweight and durable. The combination of these materials ensures that the stick can take hard hits without breaking, providing players with long-lasting performance.
To ensure a comfortable grip, the Sher-Wood Code IV Composite Hockey Stick features a high-impact resin system. This system offers excellent vibration dampening, reducing the impact of shockwaves that occur during gameplay. As a result, players can enjoy a more comfortable and relaxed grip on the stick, regardless of how long they play.
Additionally, the Code IV uses a mid-kick point design, which is ideal for players who need quick snap shots or who prefer the feeling of the puck releasing from the blade. The flex profile of the stick is optimized to suit a variety of playing styles, from defense to offense.
The blade of the Sher-Wood Code IV Composite Hockey Stick is also designed for optimal performance. It features a patented VRF: Vacuum Ribbed blade construction that enhances control and accuracy with every shot or pass. The ribs in the blade provide perfect flex, allowing players to put more power behind their shots without sacrificing control, while also providing additional stability to the blade.
In terms of appearance, the Sher-Wood Code IV Composite Hockey Stick has a sleek and modern look. The black color scheme is complemented by silver and white accents, giving the stick a stylish and understated aesthetic.
All in all, the Sher-Wood Code IV Composite Hockey Stick is an incredible choice for senior players looking to take their game to the next level. With its advanced features, durable construction, and exceptional performance, this stick is sure to give players the edge they need to dominate on the ice.

Ratings and Reviews
Been playing with the Old wood Sherwood
The Sherwood 5030 has been my favoritestick put everybody was giving me grief. So I ordered this one in the 88 curve. Compares well to the old Coffey 77 curve. Takes some time to get used to the snap on it and poke checks aren't as effective since it weighs nothing. Other than that its a great stick for the $$, just ordered another one before the sale is over.
Love this stick
Probably my favorite sherwood stick and I've used the brand my whole life
Customer Service
Ordered 2 sticks on clearance sale. 1 arrived; 1 was lost by UPS. UPS was not very helpful but Pure Hockey reps worked with me to get a comparable replacement stock (since this model was sold out). Stick itself was excellent, but rating here is for outstanding customer service
Get it
One of my favorite sticks, if you haven’t played with a Sherwood stick… try one
Are you looking to get genos?
Copped this 65 flex whopper of a composite rocket and when I pulled it out of the box I couldn't believe how light but sturdy it felt. Want a one T from the slot? It will rocket off your stick. Want to wrist it top shelf in your first game with it? All this and more can be you with this twig.
Not what I thought I ordered, but working out well
To start, with Sherwood I've come to expect good durability and value and this meets that standard. Feels lighter than it's advertised weight and shows no evidence of the constant slashing/stick checking it's been subjected to. All things considered, probably a 5 star twig (especially in it's price point). My only issue, and as noted it's working out fine, is there's no way this… read more is the Coffey PP77 curve they say it is (unless they've really changed it). Whatever curve/blade this is, it looks like a Kane with a hint of Lidstrom thrown in (curve is 1/2, not 3/4, and the toe, while not completely square isn't rounded either. Medium length blade with a mid curve). In the pictures, I've put it next to a Nexus Geo P92 for comparison. Anyways, while I was very disappointed and irritated when I unsleeved it I might have accidentally landed on a blade I really like. I doubt another Coffey curve request will look like this? If anyone is aware of a redesign to the original please advise.
Still Adjusting
Got this stick as an upgrade from my first composite stick when it was on sale. I like it -- it's lighter than my Bauer NSX -- but I'm still adjusting to it.
