About Gordie
Howe Gordie Howe was a professional ice hockey player who played for the Detroit Red Wings and the Hartford Whalers. He was nicknamed "Mr. Hockey" and was considered one of the greatest players of all time. Howe retired from hockey in 1980 and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1972.
