TOO SMALL
My 7 year old son who has a 24.5 inch waist could barely fit the junior small, and there is almost zero stretch/flex so getting them over a girdle was never going to happen. The length was good (he is 4ft 4 inches), so now we have to upsize to a medium for the waist and have them have them run long in the length. He's wore these pants in the past without issue, so I am not sure… read more if this item was defective or if they changed the design, but with little to no elasticity in the waist, go up a size to get over the girdle. They are a good inexpensive pant with a lot of breath-ability, great for outdoor/non sport court (concrete surfaces) as they won't last long, but it seems none of the pants last long in those conditions.
