Bauer Sticks
Not worth the money. Bauer Sticks are not as durable as the Warrior's I have had in the past. Bauer Customer Service for sticks is terrible.
Nexus 2N Pro was better in my sons opinion.
May take some time to get used to. My son used the 2N Pro for the past year and it seems his shot accuracy has suffered a bit.
Absolutely nasty shot
My brother bought this stick and he’s been haunting Goal tenders for months now.. I see a lot of people talk about the durability being just ok but the twigs takin a beating and held up absolutely phenomenally!
Nexus Geo Pro stick - senior
So far I love this stick. Not sure if it’s the stick or if it’s the curve. Went back to a P92. Had the Hyperlite P88 which was a very good stick but lifting my shot was non existent unless I put a lot of effort. The Nexus geo has brought my shot back and feels great in the hand with the hex curve.
Scored a sick goal with this stick
Great stick. I scored a sick goal from a low percentage area on the ice (outside of the house/slot). Just wished the stick was less expensive.
Shaft breaks easy
Heed all of the warnings that tell you this stick will break on the low shaft right after the warranty runs out! I didn't and now I'm paying for it. Literally 2 weeks after the warranty ran out my 10 year old son hit a player's skate with the tip of his stick, and it popped apart right at the ankle of the shaft. Exact same thing happened to 2 personal friends. Find a more durable… read more stick. For $200 A stick should last longer than a month and a 1/2 in the hands of a 10 year old who is taking great care of it.
Bad quality / weak stick
Player broke two sticks within 90 days. One stick was two months and the the replacement (which may have been refurbished) broke in about 25 days. Weak material. Very cheap. Not worth cost or value. Over hyped and over priced stick
Toe broke right away
toe of the blade snapped right off when my 14 year old daughter caught a pass in town hockey. It was 42 days and both Pure Hockey and Bauer Corporate stuck to a strict 30 day warranty. My daughter practices once a week and plays 1 game a weekend. That was $269 wasted.
Bad
This stick broke on the upper shaft after 3 weeks of use. Of course it broke 2 weeks after tithe warranty
Best Bauer stick yet
I've always liked Bauer sticks, but this one is the best I've had. Although my elastic was not broken it was starting to feel a bit dead, so I decided to spring for something a bit more expensive. Great decision, love this stick! It is light, and the whip is perfect allowing to really launch a shot from the point. It took a few skates to get used to, as the shot was initially getting… read more away from me high. Once I got used to that, I was able to shoot with precision.
Not happy with Bauer
Could not believe that the stick broke in half during a wrist shot. I still love the pure hockey I go to and will continue to go there for all my hockey needs . Bauer need to build a better stick for the money
Strengthened grip
Not sure whether it's the 5-sided shape or the blade technology - or a placebo effect - but this stick does what I had hoped it would: curtail twisting when trying to one-time snap a vigorous pass. This one helps me send it where I mean to, not 10-inches wide. The fuller shape takes a bit getting used to when dangling, but once comfortable, it's neither detrimental nor helpful,… read more it just is.

My son loves the twig. His shot has improved and lightweight. Worth the extra money for a great product.
The most expensive piece of junk
I got that stick for my son not even 2 months ago, flex 65. He's 15 years old, weights 127lb. Today he took a shot at practice and it broke in half. I do not recommend to anybody.
Broke in 6 days.
Broke in 6 days after purchase. Recommends this product ✘ No
Too expensive, breaks within 2 months, for $300
Breaks right after 30 warranty , all sticks should have more warranty time, at least 2 months for$300, it’s becoming only a rich kids sport, becoming equestrian
Not recommended poor quality
Broke 40 days after purchase. Would not purchase again.
Broke 2 in 3 weeks.
I bought 2 of these for my son. One that was barely used and another that had been cut previously by original owner, but not used. Had one for about a month, broke it, second one broke less than 3 weeks later.
Good stick overall
great stick! the 5 corners technology fits the hand very well. super light. overall just a very nice and receptive stick!
Geo sounds good
55 flex is the perfect flex for me hood whip. and the spine tech is sweet fits in my hand comfortably
Breaks easily
Purchased one of these for my son (15) during the summer season. Worked well until someone fell on it during half season. The stick understandably broke. We purchased another one right after, but this one broke again on a routine one timer. This latest one lasted about 10 games. It was never used outside, always just on ice games and practices. We always with work with the Pure… read more Hockey staff in store to select the right products to suit our sons needs, so I'm sure this stick breaking can't be blamed on selecting the wrong flex, kick point, or etc.
Quality Stick
My grandson has been using these sticks for two years now, loves them.
Bauer Geo Stick
Breaks easily and Bauer won’t replace stick after 30 days. Quality isn’t good and Bauer won’t stand by their product. Seems to happen a lot with this model.
Super Stick!
Bought this stick for my son. He loves it. Says it's the best stick he has ever used.
Worth the money
Everything as advertised, and what I expected from a $300 stick. Lightweight, responsive, durable. Good for any kind of shot, especially like the 5 sides (so much easier on the hands). Not sure what else to add, other than it's easy to see why it's so popular, even at the NHL level. For reference, I have the Matthews curve with a 77 flex.
Bauer stick and Pute hockey return policy
Stick continues to breakdown inside. Leaving glue particles and other debris. Need to remove knob and remove items after each use. Tried to return after 33 days Pure Hockey declined.
Worth the 40 grams lighter.
Bantam Minor player plays with a P88… 70 Flex. Tried the 2N and 3N models and preferred the lighter GEO twig.
Brakes in the same spot every time.
Have 3 boys that play. My youngest son has had 3 sticks brake in the same spot with in a 2 weeks. One was only use twice. There is a problem with this stick. We have had to try a different stick type.
Not a great pick
Bought this in August. Taking a shot in practice cracked it. He is 13 and 80 lbs. very disappointed
Great steak
10/10 stick, bought a 55 flex p28 for AAA and varsity high school and love it… would recommend to anyone.
Great stick overall
It has 5 sides for extra comfort and I have never broke it unlike my 3 ccms. They are amazing turely
It's pretty awesome
As a 16u travel team defenseman this stick is easily the best stick i've had. it has a lot of power behind it and it's decently durable. My first stick lasted about 6 months before breaking, but my current geo feels like it's wearing a bit faster than my first. overall it's a great stick and i recommend.
Best stick out there
I now own 2 Geo's. One with the P88 curve and one with the P28. I love both, but the P28 in a 77 flex is unreal. The Kick Point and weight of the stick allow you to take full advantage of the tow curve and shoot from almost any position. Plus, I'm on the ice 4-5 times a week and have had no problem at all with the durability.
My honest opinion on the Bauer Nexus Geo
I bought two of these sticks and they both broke for what I believe to be understandable reasons. The first twig was custom (The bottom stick) which broke during a practice after I had used it in my driveway. I had been taking quite aggressive slap shots which could have caused there to be damage in the stick. The second I broke more recently (The top stick) and it was due to someone… read more landing on it during a collision. Again, in my mind those are explainable reasons to justify why they broke. Now do I like this stick? I absolutely do, everything from the mid kick to the five sided shaft is unmatched to other brands of stick. It has a snappy release that can dish out power and accuracy to whomever uses it. Bauer has done an outstanding job at revolutionizing this series of Bauer stick and I am sure to buy another as soon as possible
Defective Geo? new ones do seem better....
My 14 year old daughter got the Geo when she grew out of her supreme. Very light stick! She plays A LOT of hockey. 2 Supremes lasted her 2 plus season. Just outgrew them so needed new ones. After about three months the toe of the Geo began to splinter. Yes she does tape the toe of her stick. Toe to heal for extra and then around the toe. It did not matter! Once the stick began to… read more splinter, that was it! kept getting worse! Went to PH to purchase a new one, showed the clerk what had happened and all they said was "hmmm probably too many toe drags?!?!" i explained the stick was very well taken care of and should not be breaking down as it did. They said do you want to buy a replacement? Obviously i had no choice. i do have to say the other two Geos are holding up just fine after about 5-6 months. I really think the other one was defective? i guess i will never know. 3 sticks @ $270each in 9 months is a lot to spend! hope these Geos last as long as the Supremes!?
Love this grip!
Took a few practices to get the feel for this grip but is now my favorite twig.
Broken
It broke on me under very little ice time. Grips sick and extremely light, sucks so bad it broke.
Hockey gear and awesome service!
Pure Hockey is the best! Every time we need something they have it! Fantastic customer service and quick online order and shipping process! Thank you!
Nexus Geo
I bought this. It shoots extremely well and pops really nicely. ER spine feels very good for stick handling and snapshots. However, my hand slips on the shaft sometimes when I take slapshots. Other than that, I highly recommend this stick
5 panel shaft is hard to get used to
Shot power 5/5 Shot release 3/5 Durability 4/5 (I already have some damage only after a few skates) Check out Beer League Bum Hockey Review on YoutTube for the Nexus GEO. Before I type this review I'd like to mention that I've been playing hockey since 1999 and I love Bauer sticks. I have always been fan of the Vapor and the Nexus series. The new Nexus GEO stick at first glance… read more will blow your mind. It had me thinking it was going to elevate my game i.e. the concept behind the 5 panel shaft (spine), the colors, the weight. I have skated with this new stick in five games and in one practice and I still cannot figure this stick out. I do not feel confident with this stick the way I am with others. It's hard for me to stick handle with it, I am shanking passes and shots left and right. Not sure if it is user error but it's been difficult for me to find the sweet spot. Everything that is mentioned in "Beer league bum hockey reviews" on YouTube are pretty accurate. The stick does not give a quick release for wristers but it is a smooth release. The slap shots are probably the most decent part about this stick. I was firing some slappers at practice that were pretty fast and hard. But it's hit or miss 100%. If you don't slap em' in that sweet spot, you're shanking the shot and it won't even leave the ice. Overall, I would say stick with another model that is cheaper in price. Save your money and get two sticks for the price of one. The whole 5 panel spine is not easy to get used to and I was warned by a Pure Hockey representative that this might happen. I didn't believe him. If you are interested in buying this stick, I would recommend going into a Pure Hockey location and testing the stick out.
Great stick but not sure about it's durable
I bought a Bauer Nexus GEO stick for my 8 year old son 6 month ago. My son loved the stick until he found cracks today after 6 month of use. Hope to see the improvement in durability of this stick.
Decent stick for 16u
My son played on a 16u AA team with this stick. Like most of the others at that level, it eventually broke when he took a slapshot with it. But while he was using the stick, he loved it. I only wish the companies that make these sticks designed them to last longer. Had to take a star off for durability at this age group and level. Otherwise, a solid stick. Lightweight and had some… read more good pop. Quick release.
Great stick
Great stick. My son really loves it. The 30 flex made a big change.
6 months
My 5'8" 150 pound 14 year old has broken 3 of the 87 flex sticks in 6 months all in the same place right above the blade. Of course only one was still under warranty. He loves the stick but he will spend the summer playing with a cheaper alternative.
Best stick I’ve owned and amazing staff
Best stick I’ve ever owned and the help picking it out from Pure Hockey was awesome. Super knowledgeable and friendly staff, passionate about hockey.
Great.
So far so good. She loves it ao far and has lasted longer then the CCM FT3 Pro.
Good stick but not durable
My 11 year old son loves his Geo and the Ultra Sonic as well. He’s broke 4 Ultra Sonics and 2 Geo sticks in 10 months. One was under warranty so I am not happy with the quality under normal wear and tear for what I consider the top of the line in Bauer sticks.
One sick twig
My 5' 8", 140 lb,15 year old son tells me this "twig" is "sick" and says it feels great. He shoots mostly wrist and snapshots with the occasional slap shot.
Great stick!
Love this stick. Perfect weight and feel. Shooting is nice when I’m not playing like trash!
Safety
Pure hockey staff are so knowledgeable they helped us find the best elbow pads. Super protective for high level hockey.
Great stick, but broke after 2 months
I bought this 2 months ago to replace my 11year old son's Flylite (which lasted over a year). He really liked the feel of the stick, but it broke after 2 months of use. They really need to make these more durable, considering the price!!!!
Blade Splits
we bought the stick 3 weeks ago and it cracked and split open on the bottom of the blade
Solid stick.
I wouldn’t say it’s a huge improvement from my Nexus 2n pro, but it’s a solid stick. If you have a 2n pro, there is no need to upgrade; however, if you’re looking for a new twig, this is a solid choice. Zero regrets about buying it. Light, great pop, and the 5 sided shaft was very easy to adjust to.
Pure Excellence
Pricey? Yes. Worth it? DEFINITELY! So light, perfect design, and all around best stick I’ve ever owned. Never bought a nexus stick before, always a Vapor guy, but keep it up and I may convert!
Geo is one of the best from Bauer.
My most favorite stick to date. Would definitely buy again.
Sturdy
good kick, light and has held up through several weeks and still going strong
Not worth it, durability is atrocious
The stick feels amazing with the ER Spine but the durability is terrible. I was in my locker room before a game and I flex my stick normally with barely any pressure whatsoever and it snapped clean it half. It was a 55 flex and I’m only 15 and weigh only 105. So it’s the not the flex.
GREAT FEEL!!!
My 10 year old loves the feel and weight of this stick!
Feels nice not durable
I got this stick at the start of 2021 and it feels good, very light and the five sides feel great in hand. I play wing for two teams a high level travel and high school hockey and the toe started to chip very bad within a month. Then i blocked a shot with the stick and it snapped at the bottom of the shaft towards the blade. I would say buy the last years stick such as 2ns or flylites… read more but switching back to my flylite didn’t feel as well in my hands. I recommend getting the 3n if you want to use the 5 sided stick which feels very nice as it is cheaper and not even .1 pound heavier than the geo. If you don’t want to use the 5 sides then stick to 2ns and fly lites as they are more durable for cheaper
The all around best stick ever!
I bought this last week at the San Jose Store. I drove over from Reno Nevada and they had the last P92 87 flex set aside for me. The assistant manager Mallory helped me with my friends purchases. She is so very knowledgeable about all the equipment and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. She is a shining example for your company and the type of person that makes customers… read more come back to your store. The stick is unreal and can snipe or drop clap bombs from anywhere on the ice. Sits well in the hand being 5 sided and the stick is very well balanced. It will make your game go to another level.
The right stick!
My grandson likes the flex point of the stick. Being his equipment manager I make sure everything has his approval.
Save your money, buy last year's models
Sticks this year are extremely poor quality. Buy old stock sticks whenever possible. My son is on his 5th Bauer of the year. He broke 2 of these in 2 weeks.
Great twig
The new five sided shaft helps your grip and overall gives you more control.
Stick Breaks like all the rest
My son loves the stick but I still think a $300 stick should last longer than 60 days. Why is the warranty always 30 days when most composite sticks for teens last about 60 days. Not fair...
Bauer Nexus Geo
This is probably the best stick I’ve used the 5-sided shaft fits really well in my palms the shots come off really quick and the durability is amazing I got it slashed about a few times no scratch marks at all!!!
Save your money, not durable
So got replacement after first stick broke in less than 7 days. Well it has been 8 days with the replacement stick, now it is broke too. These are not durable. Wish I could give it a zero.
Better than the rest!
Took 4 FlyLite sticks to break for us to finally move on to the GEO. Love the handle shape as it gives you great feel and you feel more connected to the stick. Still has same pop it had day one even after 4 weeks of training 3 days a week. Creates heavier shot than FlyLite with great feel and control. Big Bauer fan and while FlyLite was starting to disappoint this has brought us… read more back. Definitely recommend!
5 side is great
Great stick and gets the job done. The 5 side grip works wonders.
Last 3 High school hockey games
Broke after 3 games (HS Hockey) . Hope the new one last longer
Best Stick I used
This stick has a great feeling in the hand and a really nice release of the puck. Good with mid stride shots and power transfer from the stick to the puck
Top Notch Stick with a new type of rip
Different grip style takes a bit to get used to but once you do hard to use anything else!
Bauer Geo
This is a great stick! It’s super durable with a good kick point makes for a quick release.
One of best sticks I’ve used
Like the lightness and quick release. Especially good for wrist shots from the blue line.
Excellent Upgrade
Day 2. Still in love and attracting a crowd. Lots of pop to recharge ones batteries. Curious to see how durable it really is.
