They were a little big for our son but with an extra pair of regular socks to wear with them, his feet are warm.

Different but good

These have a different feel from other socks. They held snug to my legs through a workout. Going to like these.

Great fit and protection but itchy sometimes.

Bought these for my son and me. My son plays goalie so wanted his legs get protected from the back if ever in an odd situation. You can feel the protection. And they fit great. However they can feel itchy at times.

Nice Pair of Cut Resistant Socks, Nice Quality

After seeing the injury to the OHL's Niagara Ice Dog's goalie and the talk around the league about increasing protection for goalies, we decided to buy these for my 9 year old son who is now playing goalie full time as added protection for his calves. Comfortable

I bought these for my son and he says they are very comfortable. One feature he really appreciated was the toes are made of regular sock material which let him wiggle his toes. Overall a great buy, especially being on sale!

Pretty comfortable but not perfect

I really like the sock for the most part. It stays up from what I can tell but I did have shin guards on when I wore them the first time so that might have affected that. They are pretty comfortable with one exception, if there's a spot that rubs in your skate, you're going to start feeling it real quick. There's a spot on the inside top of my foot right on a bone that started to… read more get rubbed quite a bit. When I baked my skates I didn't lean forward at all though so it may not be a real issue. I'm going to try wearing some nylon socks underneath and maybe bake my skates again in the skating position instead of 90 degree position and see if that makes a difference. I can't speak to their ability to resist cutting because I haven't tried it but they're made of kevlar and steel so I would assume they're pretty cut resistant. One last note. The seems never bothered me once. There is a different kind of seem in the heel and I can't even see it and the one in the toe is minimal and hasn't bothered me at all.

Very comfortable

Had some old under armor high socks but the fabric was scratchy and they were getting too old. These feel like nice wool hunting socks but give you that good compression and fit perfect in the skate
