Bought online without trying them on first and glad I did. These were on clearance and the fit was great. Not as bulky as my last pair and felt easier to move around the ice.

Arrived missing buckle.

Shouldn’t have to pay shipping charges to return faulty merchandise. Returned to store, but because clearance item, bought something else. So clearance means missing pieces at Pure Hockey?

Great Protection

Just found these pants on sale. My son decided to try to put his previous pants on over his skates and you can imagine the outcome. His previous shorts were LTP. We have slowly been replacing his LTP gear, but I held off on the pants because I figured they were not much different. I was SO wrong! One other reviewer stated that these pants were the best protection on the market… read more for young players and that statement sold me. They are "anatomic" fit, so they were different from his LTP, which were much more roomy. I was concerned they might be a bit restrictive, but after one time on the ice with these, he said they were great! I asked him if they were tight or restrictive and he assured me they were not. He LOVES them and I love the fact that they have AMAZING protection and thoughtful details that only fellow hockey players would think about to build in.

Great coverage, low durability

Fits great and good protection, however after 2 wears the seam on the top of the waist flap has torn off. Pretty disappointing for an expensive pant to already need to be held together by duct tape

Terrible Protection

Zero padding on the front of the upper thigh and even part of the sides. Very small pad on the side of the upper thigh made worse by the hip pads being cut funny causing the right hip pad to sit farther back then the left. Returned them after blocking only shot due to the the canteloupe sized bruise on my leg. They have great mobility, but so do gym shorts which provide the same… read more level protection. Pure Hockey store staff and others have said people are sewing in extra padding themselves because the padding is so bad.

Worth the Money

If you buy these pants on sale - absolutely the best bang-for-your-buck as far as I am concerned. This was an upgrade from Nexus 1N which I freaking hated. I have a 40-in waste size and I felt like I was swimming in 1N (XL size) pants. These 1S fit me just right. There are multiple advantages between Nexus and Supreme that I can point to: - Weight: I would say 1S is 1/3 lighter… read more than Nexus 1N. See below. - Protection: 1S uses Kevlar material to reduce the weight without sacrificing the protection. The shape of the thigh guards also contours to your body and gives more of a deflection angle for the pucks than what I had with 1N... which was just a slightly curved plastic pad. - Comfort: The ergonomic fit is just so much more comfortable than the bulky 1N. Also the Velcro fly allows me to do my stretched and get in/out of the pants a lot easier. - Breathability: It's the same 37.5 technology as 1N. I leave the hockey bag by my car as I have a beer with the guys after the game. It's about 80% dry within an hour. Highly recommend 1S. I also have their shoulder pads and elbow pads. -Alex

6’1” 190 33 waist - XL fits well. A little loose in the waist but hits well everywhere else. Great protection.

Love these for my 4 year old!

I recently purchased these hockey pants for my 4.5 year old who is starting hockey for the first time. He typically wears a size 5, and is almost into a 6 (but is of average height and weight for a child of his size). He loves these pants, we will probably get at least one, maybe two more years out of them on him. The waist can be adjusted.

Great Jr Hockey Pant

This is the best Jr size high-end pant we've seen yet... it's a more fitted style pant with lots of adjustability while being light and providing great protection. Our son is smaller and all the other pants were too bulky. I have yet to see a pant that has that pro level protection for Jrs though... best Jr pants ever made were the original Tackla's made in Finland:)

Bauer Supreme 1S hockey pants are really nice

Bought 2 medium size pants for my twin 8 yr olds. These fit very well and protect better than any others I have seen. With that said, you get what you pay for.
