Best skate I’ve ever had
Wow is all I can say. Baked them and my first skate felt like I’ve worn them my whole life. Not to stiff right out of the box and extremely lightweight. Highly recommended.
Great fit
My youngest has wider, flat feet and these skates fit her so well! We have tried several brands and fits only to find these are the most comfortable for her. The price is a bit high for a 4 year olds skate, but we are willing to pay that for the comfort and durability of this skate!
Blade Holder/ Blade Issues
I like the stiff boot, excellent protection by the way. However, the blade holder on the left skate doesn't hold the blade snugly. I get that 'click' every time I step on the skate. The blade is moving very slightly at the heel. I took the skate back and had the holder replaced under warranty, but I still have the 'click'. Blade next?
Sturdy and light
I am 6’2” 250 and a lot of boots flex on me in tight corners, not these they hold up quite nice under the pressure. They are very stiff but still comfortable
Out of the box and into a Tier 1 game, No break in required
I gave 4 stars for quality since my son got a pair for Christmas and his 1st practice after the holiday which was a low key non contact practice he came off the ice with a shattered tendon guard. After communicating with Hockey Monkey they replaced the skates in the store while we were at a T1E showcase. Cheap Blades
Got this for my Son and less then two weeks, Game 4 the Blade cracked .. What Crap.. The Skates maybe ok but couldnt even get a month with the Blades that came with the skates.
Best out-of-the-box skate I've ever worn
I always dread new skates because they're expensive and I absolutely hate the break-in period. Typically nothing but misery. I've skated in these twice and barely have had any break-in pain. Great skate
My son is a MITE A player and has been wearing Bauer skates since he was 3.5. These skates are on the expensive side, but are worth it. I wouldnt suggest spending the money if your player is just staring out. This is an advanced skate for a player who is some what comfortable on their edges. I ordered them online and baked them twice at home.
