Great Pants, Great Service!
These seem like high quality pants, and frankly, an unbelievable deal for the price. I can confirm that they seem to run a little large in the waist, but this was not a big deal for me. The Bauer X pants also seem like good pants for the price, but these really seem like a step-up in terms of the level of protection you would get compared to the Bauer X pants. The only thing that… read more beats the pants was the service that I received at Pure Hockey. Every time I go into my local store, I have a great experience with whoever happens to be working there. They are helpful, professional, and friendly. I can't say enough good things about Pure Hockey, and that is why they are the first place I look every time I am in the market for hockey gear.

Not so great pant for women
I bought this pant and played once in them. Fell hard on my left hip and felt like there was zero padding there. Still dealing with deep bruise and pain almost a week later. These pants weren’t really made to fit a woman. They might be great for someone with smaller hips, but it just felt like the padding wasn’t where I needed it. The tail bone padding was super short on me… read more too so I’m scared to fall that way because I will end up injured. I’m a woman, 5’6” and 145 lbs and bought the small. Will end up returning them this weekend.
Bulky and don’t have great padding
Super bulky and did not have great coverage. Wound up returning them.

Good, cheap, basic pants. No "advanced" features. Worked well for my kid. Good fit for "wider" waist.

Good hockey pants
Good pants, Sizes are a pain when doing online but these seem to fit better than the last ones. Probably have to order up before the end of the school year. These give him plenty of padding and he says they are very comfortable.
