Good fit and great protection of the tail bone and lower back area. We made this purchase per the reviews that this product was one of the best for tail bone protection. These pants were purchased for our 12 year old son.
Good protection, few flaws.
Overall protection is good. Few problems with it though. It’s runs small. I got an XL and have a 36 waste and have a hard time velcroing it every time. Also the one side has 3 velcro spots inside the pant leg that is for holding in the removable pad. The other leg just slides out the side. Not sure why they are different and the velcro side is very annoying because it gets caught… read more on your socks often during the game which isn’t a huge deal but with my OCD I am thinking about it a lot when it gets snagged and do not like it.

Good tailbone protection for kids
Great pants. Fit my child well and have extra hip and tailbone protection. These may be a bit more expensive, but with how often kids fall, it will be worth it to help keep them out of pain. Fits the child good and seems to be made out of the same quality stuff that adult pants are made out of.

Active motion protection is really everything is half put together. The belt isn’t attached throughout the whole pant and the stitching isn’t the great. That’s the only negative, but perhaps that’s just how these pants work because they are unbelievably comfortable. Didn’t have to readjust my gear once all game which is unheard of for me. Pant Feel
Getting used to waist, a bit bulky feeling but I hope that changes with time and breaking in.

Bauer Supreme Ultrasonic Ice Hockey Pants for 7YO
My son loved these pants after getting a pair of suspenders to hold them up. Without the suspenders, the hip protectors were digging into his sides. I would definitely buy these again.
Good short for kids
My son love it from very first time he wearied it. Made well, quite light
Built cheap
The belt adjustment strap tore out after only two months. When looking at it, the strap does not go completely around and is only attached by a small cluster of stitching near the back. Because the strap does not go around, the pants are useless once this happened and we had to purchase a new pair. Bad design, not sure what Bauer was thinking.
Great pair of pants
The new pants have everything my 6yo was needing. The fit it good and has plenty of room to grow into before even needing the extra extension that is built in very happy with the purchase.
