Purchased my first set in June, the bottoms blew out within 3 months. (See previous review) Pure Hockey was great in helping me swap them out for another set (still within 90 days from initial purchase. Due to timing and pads being low stock, I had to go back with CCMs again. Well, it's basically 3 months again and the stiching has burst on the front of the pad.... No luck with… read more these pads at all. These were used by my 9 year old daugther who plays on second year squirts and first year pee wee teams.
Didn't Last 3 months
Purchased these for my 9 year old on June 20, 2021. It's September 8th and they are torn from slides. Would not recommend these pads at all.

Axis 1.5 leg pads
These pads sit higher off the ice than other brands. Lightweight, flexible after short break in period. Allows for effective skating stride. The pads help keep the puck in front of you when in the butterfly, does not kick out long rebounds strong control.
Great Pads!!
I purchased black CCM Axis A1.5 to replace CCM Premier pads for my '09 and he instantly loved them! He quickly noticed how light they were and really liked the quick motion strap system. He also mentioned how much he likes how the puck comes off hard with these pads. The only thing I would improve are the toe ties, they really do not have much give.
