CCM Custom Mouth Guard Review

Nice to talk and drink like a normal person again

Just bought this. It was super tough to get molded the right way around my teeth, but once I got it right (took about 6-7 tries), it fits better than a glove. Honestly don't even notice it's in when i'm playing. Not sure how truly protective this is... seems like at the very least, my teeth won't leave my mouth...

If you want to be able to talk trash, get this.

Easy to fit. Easy to refit. Meets minimal standards. Not so sure that it will actually prevent a concussion as it isn't very cushy, however if you want to be able to breathe and talk trash, this is about the only mouthpiece that allows for that unless you want to spend big bucks.

Awesome custom mouth guard!

The orthodontist recently put an expander in my son's mouth as part of his orthodontic treatment plan. Consequently, his mouth guard doesn't fit anymore. My son and I bought and I tried this mouth guard and it works extremely well. It was one of those days when you're running late for a game. We stopped by Total Hockey to sharpen his skates, bought the mouth guard and we entered… read more the hockey rink 15 minutes before the puck dropped. I stopped by the concession stand, grabbed a styrofoam cup of hot water, dropped the mouth guard in for a few minutes, took it to the locker room, put it in his mouth. It molded itself around his top teeth and the expander almost perfectly. There was a small point near the front of his mouth during the game because it cooled too quickly. So, when we arrived home, we remolded it without any problems and it fits perfectly. It is pricey but an awesome custom mouth guard!
