Weird Velcro leg strap attachment.
The center leg strap appears to be attached backwards such that one has to twist the strap to complete the Velcro attachment. The upper and lower leg straps are fine.
Pure Hockey deserves the win
Four stars because Pure Hockey deserves 5 stars. These pads are a 3. I purchased these pads dor my daugther. They didnt last 3 months. The tore ar the bottom. Pure hockey went above and beyond to make it right. Unfortunately due to the season i had to get the same pads again and i can already see they are tearing again. Dorsnt seem to be as quick but the side of pad along… read more bottom seam doesnt have enough protection and after sliding enough the pads come apart.

Great pad for my ‘09 goalie. First new set of pads and broke in really quick.
Great pad, calf strap way too tight/small
Love the pad but... They calf strap on the 30+1 Jr pads is way to short. Like you could barely fit your wrist in with the elastic and velco strap on the largest possible position. My son found it way too tight to wear. Such a strange thing... The Axis in 28+1 do not have this problem at all (much bigger space for the calf with the strap). The intermediate 30+1 (which are really… read more too big for many younger goalies) are also just fine. Very strange Ccm would go to such a tight/small calf strap. We are going to look at options to extend it or wear without the calf strap but not what I expected. As the pads are out of the box I would not recommend for this reason. Sorry

My son has had a handful of practices and 1 game, loves these pads so far. Quality wise, they are awesome!!
