I was looking to upgrade my 8u's skates and picked these up. CCM is a trusted brand, but they really missed the mark on these. My son plays competitive, so I also purchased better wheels and bearings to replace the stock ones. I got them swapped out, but realized I put them on "backwards" on one side. When I used the supplied tool to take the wheels back off to flip them around,… read more one of the axles just completely stripped the head. Unfortunately, for this model, replacement axles cannot be purchased ANYWHERE. CCM, changed the design of the axle and none of the standard axle types will fit. Long story short... If you plan to never take the wheels off, these are an ok skate. Otherwise, spend the extra for the 9370
