So worth it!

After getting these I realized my old pair felt paper thin. Worth every dollar for that extra lower back protection too. Didn’t know it doesn’t have to hurt every time you fall on the ice. Love these! Sizing: I weigh 180 lbs and wear size 34 jeans and the large hockey pants fit perfect

CCM AS1 HOCKEY PANTS

Protection is super. Features such as leg side zipper to open leg space, waist zipper to lower one inch, and suspender fasteners are an extra feature well designed.

Super comfortable

I haven’t played hockey in over 20 years and had to buy all new equipment (I’m much bigger these days). Great all-around pant.

I found them very comfortable the first time I stepped on the ice. Very protective. I'm only 5'5" & a Medium fit perfect. I do like the option to lengthen the by a zipper under the waist. If you're a little taller, you'll like the option to give the pants a couple inches out of the pant.I would reommend to anyone!

Great protection & comfortable

the As1's are one of the beat hockey pants I have used. Originally, purchased a pair for my son and he lived them, so I decided to upgrade. Great protection everywhere you need it! And, very comfortable with no impact on limitation. Definitely recommend for the price, as the newer equipment is coming out.

Give them a chance

These feel small. And they are. They are smaller than my same sized Vapor APX II. But combined with the AS1 shins and shoulders they make a complete package. Everything that needs to be covered is covered without restricting movement. I haven't felt a thing taking falls in these.

Perfect, but they need a Y-XL or J-Small option

The only issue I have with these is the sizing, which has nothing to do with Pure Hockey. They go from a Youth Large to a Junior Medium and for my guy the Y-L is too small in terms of length, but the J-M is too large in terms of width. The length of the Y-M is workable, but he's swimming in them. Not sure why they didn't do a J-S or even Y-XL to adjust for the longer, skinny kids… read more and I called CCM to confirm there is no Y-XL/J-S offered. Or even a Y-M thin or something so they are a bit more fitted...However, I have a pair as well and they're the only pants that I'll buy for my boys as I consider them the best protection on the market.

Fit well, protect better

Bought these about 3 weeks ago and have played about a dozen games in them so far. I like the D3O protection and the way they fit. Very nice pants.

Protection

I’ve had a chance to play a couple scrimmage and a couple Adult D League Games and only wish I’d had these pants when I started Adult League In 2018. The protection levels give so much more confidence, my game will continue to improve now. Thanks for the opportunity to comment

Roomy and well made

I've played about 5 games in the new pants and I like them. They are roomier which is good if, like me, you like to put your pants on after you've tied your skates. I bought them because they have good padding in the back and sides. The back pad is adjustable but I haven't been able to get it in the right place quite yet. Very well built and worth the extra money. The inside makes it very easy to adjust and operate. This pants do run narrow.
