A little wonky but does the job
They're a little oddly shaped and wonky to use, but they definitely do the job. Materials feel good and as far as skate protection goes I'll definitely trust it. With that said, for a heavier person I wouldn't necessarily recommend walking in them much. Kids could very likely get away with it.
Kid Loves them and they are tough
No more ripped soakers with these. At $10+ bucks a sharp, and the risk of cutting your bag and everything inside, why go cheap?
Garbage
Walked, only a few steps, while these were on my skates and my blades cut holes in the sides of both guards. Don't waste your money.
Worth the extra cash money
These are great. They wrap tightly around the holder, so nothing is going to get in and mess with the blade. The blade fits nicely into the molded foam, so there is little worry about knicks and scratches. I used to have the $7 fabric holders that soaked up water, but my blades ate right through them. This is a much better value for the money; these will never get slashed through.
Do Not Fit Larger Goalie Skates
Picked these up in a size Large (for skates size up to 12) for my size 10.5 Bauer Supreme One80 goal skates. They didn't come close to being long enough for the blade. Seem like a very durable and well made product; but how can they not design something that'll work on the longer, non-rockered blade of a goal skate?!
Fits great on CCM Size 13's
These will fit a senior 13 skate perfectly and remain flexible after they are taken off. I previously used the plastic covers but had to perform more skate maintenance due to rust.
