Don't buy it. Not worth the money.
The whistle physically works, but you can barely hear it in a game when you yourself are triggering it at the loudest level. It's not worth the money, and honestly the only reason I bought it was because we're in a pandemic. At least I can write this off on my taxes.

The whistle works well it has 3 different types of sounds if there’s any complaint at all it’s that it could be a little louder and less bulky
Great purchase
I bought a bunch of these for the season to avoid using the regular whistles and spreading droplets around the rink. Very easy to use, as loud or louder than a regular whistle. I dont think I will ever go back to a regular whistle.
