Graf Cobra NT3000 Blade Holders (1 Pair) Review

Needed a bit of help to seat blades

Thanks to Hockey Monkey for having these in stock and quick delivery when my daughter had her original holder break! Although it was easy to replace the holder to the boot I had to take the skate to a skateshop to fully seat the blade because it was a bit snug.

Good Holder

I ordered these in black, as I had never seen a Graf skate with a black holder. Honestly, I love they way my skates look now. I have a pair of 2009 G35 that now have a black holder and black laces (i know its a crime to put anything but yellow laces on a Graf skate). These changes have given my skates a stealth look that I would compare to the Bauer Supreme One100 LE or the Bauer… read more Vapor X3.0 Black LE. If you like that type of look and you wear Graf, this upgrade will transform your skate. I only wish they offered the Cobra UL5000 holder in black, as it causes a little less breakage of you blade due to the little indentation at the back of the holder. I also put the Step-Steel that I was using prior to the switch into this holder, so now I have an extra set of replacement steel in the rare event that I snap a blade. Graf is the only skate that I know of that allows you to change the holders at home due to the screws they use instead of rivets. It took about an hour to change both blades and holders on my skates.
