Dont buy
Worst low buget skate ever. Rivets eat into your foot and boot hurted my feet so much i threw these skates into a needy bin. Do not waste your money on these! No matter what i did to make these comfortable i still feel the rivits biting into my feet.
Good skate but weird fit.
Although the skates work well it was hard for me to make them comfortable. It didn’t matter how I laced them or how loose and tight I’d experimented with I was always uncomfortable in these. Either one of the ankles was digging into me or just making my feet throb. These are considered the wider of the boots too which is odd. I let me friend try them on for a few days and he… read more even concluded the fit was off and uncomfortable a majority of the time. Maybe one day someone else can crack the code on this but no matter what we did the skates just were not comfortable at all at least for how we practice and play like. Might not be so bad for a casual person who just wants to stroll around the neighborhood time to time. Although the price point can be an indicator of what you pay is what you get I will say this is a good bargain for light use exercise or something to buy just to have around. It’s not bad for being just over $100 and I haven’t had any issue with these feeling flimsy or cheap at all yet. It’s fairly light for an inline and it’s not excessively bulky, clunky and heavy like previous skates I used in this price point have been. Not too bad to do a quick few laps around the apartment complex but I don’t see how anyone could use these for an extended period of time or imagine using these during a game simply because the fit is so weird. Would I recommend these? Yes! I say get it if you need something now to pass some time, practice with as you save up for new ones, practice without decreasing the life on your good skates or if you’re new and want to try this sport out. At this cheap price point It’s a good enough investment to give it a shot. Otherwise if you want to buy only 1 set of skates to do all your training and games in please get yourself some top of the line skates where you can bake to your feet. Also switch these wheels out with other wheels right away you will be flailing everywhere with these stock ones haha.
Pros and Cons
Pros: boot is comfortable and looks good. Wheels worked well at the beginning but wore out quick. Cons: material ripped fairly quick but the structure of the boot is holding up. Summary: Will probably spend more money next time to get a better performance but for the price these skates were worth the money.
Cheap and functional
Needed something for my 1 night a week beer league without breaking the bank. Obviously only spending $100 bucks I wasn’t expecting much but these have worked fine so far. I’m not very optimistic for how long they will last but about a month in they still are like brand new!
Perfect to get out with the kids!
My kids recently got some skates for Christmas and they were begging me to get a pair so I could skate with them. I used to play hockey when I was younger and I wasn’t going to break the bank for a new pair. They aren’t the lightest skates I’ve ever had but they are supper comfortable and work great to get out with the kids! Now I got the itch again and will probably go join… read more a league!
