Not worth the money
Stick started to chip on the edges in 2 Bantam games. My player liked the feel and the weight but not a durable stick.
A reason a true only offers 30 day warranties.
Bought this stick for my 14YO son for Christmas. 02FEB2022 a split has developed along the top edge (vertical of held in a goalie stance). Six practices and two games (Bantam AA) is all you get, apparently.
Poor durability
Bought this stick from pure hockey. Son loves the feel of it while playing. However, within 2 weeks, the stick started breaking down, splitting and chunks coming out of it. Was told by pure hockey they couldn’t warranty the stick unless it was completely broken. Now 4 weeks after buying a stick, we are looking to purchase a new stick.
Durability only issue
Great stick performance-wise but horrible durability. Went through like 4 a month playing junior
TRUE Catalyst 5 Composite Goalie Stick
My son is a 12 year old goalie and he loves how light the stick feels. He also said this stick makes it easier for him to shoot to the puck with ease.
Don’t Buy, Breaks Easily
Purchased this for my 10 year old at the end of Sept to start the season, it didn’t make it six weeks before the heel of the blade cracked through. The other goalie on his team bought the same stick and it is starting to crack at the same spot in less than 3 weeks. The kids liked the light weight but they are very fragile. Would not recommend.
Doesn’t hold up well
I bought this stick thinking it was going to be durable and a decent price, after 12 days it broke got a warranty now it is cracking down the shaft. Where the front and back would meet. It’s good for anything below bantams. I am playing at a high school level and broke 2 in less then 2 months
