I am 6’2” 250 and a lot of boots flex on me in tight corners, not these they hold up quite nice under the pressure. They are very stiff but still comfortable

Great socks
I have been looking for the SJ home sock and the team colors are the same. Hockey Monkey had just the thing. Socks were shipped fast and they look great. Now if only I could play like Logan Couture.
Great jacket
This is a very nice jacket. My only real complaint is I expected it to be a little thicker and warmer.
Surprisingly warm despite light weight; vastly superior to Bauer midweight warmup jacket.
At first glance this jacket may appear similar to the ubiquitous mid-weight Bauer warm-up jacket, worn by many ice hockey players and coaches. However, this heavyweight jacket is a vastly better jacket, with lightweight insulation that provides warmth even in cold, windy winter conditions. The detachable hood provides additional protection on particularly cold days or in the event of precipitation. The mid-weight jacket, by contrast is only appropriate in the rink and only mildly chilly days down to ~ 50 degrees. The irony is that the "heavyweight" jacket is extremely light, as compared to a typical winter parka. It is only slightly heavier than the Bauer midweight jacket, despite providing vastly better comfort and warmth.
Great socks for use with ankle brace
Due to surgeries on both ankles, I have to wear lace-up ankle braces when I play. These socks are an excellent fit, thin enough to wear my braces inside my skates, and they don't bunch up. Highly recommended.

good but ....
as I like to try out new gadgety items, i bought a pair of these. Unfortunately the rubber grip to pull it tight over the heel ripped off the second time I used it. I can still put them on my REALLY inconvenient. Very good if you have to zip out of the rink to the car after you've forgotten something, etc and to buzz around the rink between periods or ice times with the 4 wheels, i would not recommend for playing inline at all as totally different from skating. Definitely no inside outside edge work but would be decent for a beginner
