No Resultdefective Geo? new ones do seem better....
My 14 year old daughter got the Geo when she grew out of her supreme. Very light stick! She plays A LOT of hockey. 2 Supremes lasted her 2 plus season. Just outgrew them so needed new ones. After about three months the toe of the Geo began to splinter. Yes she does tape the toe of her stick. Toe to heal for extra and then around the toe. It did not matter! Once the stick began to splinter, that was it! kept getting worse! Went to PH to purchase a new one, showed the clerk what had happened and all they said was "hmmm probably too many toe drags?!?!" i explained the stick was very well taken care of and should not be breaking down as it did. They said do you want to buy a replacement? Obviously i had no choice. i do have to say the other two Geos are holding up just fine after about 5-6 months. I really think the other one was defective? i guess i will never know. 3 sticks @ $270each in 9 months is a lot to spend! hope these Geos last as long as the Supremes!?
so far so good! great skate!
My 14 year old was due for new skates. She has skated her entire life so she knows what she likes! Bauer has been very good to her over the years. Last pair was a pair of Supremes S2's which she had for FIVE years! wore the skate out finally! She loves the combination of a very light weight skate that offers maximum protection and great flexibility. I was concerned about the black carbon blades that were recommended for the skate and glad we did not purchase them for another $250 per set! (that is not a type-o). She opted for the titanium ($150 instead of $250). when i brought them to be profiled, the guy said they are having problems with the carbon melting off the blade during sharpening obviously a HUGE issue! The skates are very expensive. Hopefully they last as long as the Supremes?! They will be put to the test playing year round constantly skating!

just another quick pit stop!!
We arrived at the rink and of course my daughter says, "i forgot to tell you, my chin strap broke!" I dropped her off and raced to PH. Not only did they have the chin strap, but they took the time to replace the broken one on the helmet! I was back at the rink before my daughter had her skates on! PH above and beyond once again! this is just another example of why we chose PH over all the different options for hockey gear! Thank you!!
easy purchase.
we bought this as a girdle replacement for our 12 year old daughter. she loves it. same fit, with a bit more padding and obviously not warn out.
