The 5 sided shaft definitely gives a different feeling in your hand as it is a little thicker but over all I think it is a good stick and seems durable.

Horrible Quality

These pants are thin and cheaply made. They ripped in several places including a large whole in the knee after 2 uses. Would never recommend these pants to anyone and wish I could have got my money back.
