I’m a twice a week beer leaguer. I’ve used every lvl of skate. I typically prefer a really stiff boot as my last 2 pair have been pro stock skates. My last skates broke down kinda fast and were really starting to kill my feet. I was looking for a pair that wouldn’t take to long to break in so I went with these. They were great right out of the box. I got them baked and that’s it. First day on the ice no discomfort at all. The soft edge at the top is amazing. They are just stiff enough to be responsive but not to the point where they hurt your feet. Perfect boot for someone looking for a quality right out of the box skate.
