Good solid stick, right price

Been playing with it for a few games, and it feels like the old Easton I bought this one to replace. True to the pattern, true to stiffness, and grippy. If you're an old guy like me who grew up with wood and aluminum, the grip factor can take some getting used to, but it's not a bad thing.

Meh. Upgrade to something with a more solid mount

Not a fan of the way this attaches to an older helmet - sure, it's adjustable so you can get it right where you want it in front of your eyes, but a hard hit will probably move it out of place and you'll spend the next bench shift trying to get it back to where you want it. Move up a level to a shield with a more solid mount -- or get ready to tighten the living crap out of this thing and suffer the possibility of cracking the shield while installing.
