Great stick overall except for grip

I’ve had two of these sticks for about 3/4 of a year. I liked them, but later in the season it felt like the blade was opening up or something, and I couldn’t make very accurate passes(maybe just me). The grip also started to peel/rip off where my bottom hand usually sits. This happened to both sticks. One started to peel more because it was the stick I used as a backup/practice stick and the other was a backup to the backup. Also, towards the end of the shaft and more towards the blade, the color/coat started to flake.
