A perfect stick for me, a 6’4” beer league defenseman in his early 50s. A couple inches taller than most sticks, it can be used as-is, with no need to add an extension. A moderate curve and 85-flex helps me keep the puck low on snap shots from the point. I loved my prior Warrior sticks, but I think they were 75-flex and therefore a little too whippy. Even with the stiffer 85 I was able to go shelf in scoring from the top of the circle the other night. Oh, and the True stick is a classic beauty: black, blue and white. Who’d pay nearly $300 for a hideous, fluorescent colored stick like we’re seeing these days?
