Ultra light weight and responsive
Received this as a xmas gift and have taken it out for a few stick and shoots, and tried it in my beer league games. I usually go with my trusty Warrior Covert QRE Pro stick, and this is a lighter stick (MC 1400 vs MC 1000 on the Covert). The tapering is a little thicker on the bottom third of the shaft than the Covert series (both Intermediate sticks), and I swear the curve (both W03 Backstrom) is slightly less open than the Covert as well. The biggest difference though is the kickpoint, which this product describes as a low kick point, but definitely feels higher than the Covert I've been playing with, consistent with other Alpha series sticks. The blade feels responsive and the shots have good power on them. It is incredibly light, and feels well balanced. It is also a gorgeous stick, love the dark color and shiny embossing on it.
