The narrowed neck of the stick really increases the flex. My son is very tall and not that heavy, so the extra flex really makes a difference when he send the puck around the boards or on wrist shots. He and I noticed the difference immediately.

CCM skate blades break too often

Third set of replacement blades in 2 years. I purchased these skates 2 years ago - right before quarantine started. My son plays high school hockey 3-4 times per week. This is now the 3rd set of blades I have purchased because the blade has snapped in half. CCM needs to evaluate how the blades are being held in the skate. The last person who replaced the blades added tape to the blade to account for wear in the holder. This skate is too expensive to wear out this quickly.
