Great skates, but two things...

I wear a 12.0 - 12.5 pair of Nike's, and bought these on a size 11 and they fit great. They are super light, and feel great on the ice. The only thing I will say about them is that the positioning of ankle support space feels like it's a bit lower than it should be. So sometimes it might feel like the ankle 'ball' rest spot on both sides is not nested where it should be. I'm thinking of baking these skates, and hopefully that should help with the break in period so when I'm on the ice, I don't feel the squeezing pressure on there. Also, one thing you should be aware of is that they are soft from the upper portion. They are not as rigid as you would think for good ankle support if you're getting back into the game (like me) after taking a long break (10 years in my case). So since I need that extra support, I've found that I need to wrap the laces around the back to get that feeling of support, especially coming in at 6'1 and 250ibs (I know, that's why I jumped back into skating for the workout and weight loss), I think that once I build that ankle/lower leg strength back, it shouldn't be a problem. That method of tying the laces helps, but still be aware that the top portion of the boot is a bit soft, so if you're looking for something more rigid - you might need to find a different model. Besides those 2 things (ankle rest stop placement, soft upper molding), these are great lightweight skates. I would purchase again and would recommend them to a friend.
