I had a pair of Reebok 4ks but the left skate never seemed to loosen up on the ball of my foot the way I hoped it would. The toe box seemed just right enough too buckle the center of my foot when pushing off or stopping. I was going to keep suffering through the pain until I tried these on. Right out of the box with no baking the forefoot and heel were a better fit and the toe box was slightly wider which was perfect for me. I skated about two hours without having them baked and my ankles were pretty raw so I'm hoping the bake helps with that a little. Overall I feel the skate is a higher quality product that the Reebok but I will say the Reebok was more comfortable in the ankles, maybe it was the padding or the pump but I figure these will break in.
