Very stiff and hard to break in

Bought these as I have always worn CCM tacks. Super hard to break in. Had the skates baked, punched, and added superfeet. After about a dozen uses it still feels like skating in ski boots. I find the stiffness of the boot is nearly unbearable to skate in. Hopefully they soften up or I have a very expensive pair of bookends.
