Disappointing

TL;DR They sit too high on the skate so they impede your ankle bending forward. Makes it difficult to skate properly. Full review: I purchased these after taking a particularly nasty shot off my skate. I was looking forward to using them, but suffice to say, after a single shift, I had removed them and would return them if that was possible. Molding them was harder than anticipated. It took twice as long in the oven than the packaging recommended, and they cooled so far I couldn't really mold them the first time, so I had to re-do the process. The second attempt was better, but the tongue of the wrap would not bend to form to my skate. Neither skate was well fit, but after a few attempts, I couldn't get them any snugger. Got to a game, put them on, immediately realized that the velcro was too long so I couldn't use that to get them any tighter. Get on the ice, discover I can't bend forward at the ankle anymore because the wrap comes up too high. Tried to use tape to hold it down, but they still sat too high. Blocked a shot in the pre-game skate, it didn't hurt, so that was good. First shift I can barely skate from the ankle issue. After that shift, immediately removed them. Dunno what to do with them now as they can't be returned. Would not purchase again, would not recommend to a friend.

Horrible

I have had these gloves for 4 months and they have already fallen apart. The main reason I bought these was for the zipper and it fell apart very quickly.

Highest quality steel available. skip the colors and the coatings, it's just for show. get the classic. I have been skating on massive 4 times a week since 2017. manufacturing and quality control are second to none.
