Worked well for 9 months

I purchased two of these. One was used every other day and lasted 9 months. It finally cracked where it attached to the helmet. Completely garbage to me now. I can already tell the Bauer of the same is made so there is less strain when opening on the plastic.

Lots of Airflow, Nearly Indestructible

Good for daily use, could be used within a helmet as a player or goalie. I use as a coach on the ice. Easily washable and doesn't shrink when washed on hot. I would imagine these are hard to destroy. It does allow more airflow that I am comfortable with so I rarely use it unless absolutely required. It does fit really close to my face as an adult. I wouldn't use this as a kid, too loose, too much airflow.

Slightly better than hockey spit, does it last?

I have used hockey spit on multiple visors I have at home. I tried the gel and it does cover better and lasts slightly longer based on my poor memory. While it does cost slightly more, I tend to pay a little more if something says it works better. Overall, I have had the same bottle of hockey spit for at least a year, the gel didn't last as long. It was good, not sure it's worth the cost, if you are starting out new, try it.
