Fit is too narrow causing headache.

My 8yo son recently switched to a CCM helmet which has a comfortable fit. We have been using a Bauer clear shield but wanted to use CCM junior hoping it would better fit his helmet. Unfortunately It does NOT. The major issue is that when the shield is closed it squeezes the helmet very tight at the temples. It was giving him headaches. I cut a block of wood and wedged it into the mask. After each ice session we place the blocking in to keep it wider. Hopefully the mask will lean to stay widened.
