The last cage I'll ever need to buy
Yes, I paid $70 for this cage and here's why: It's ultralight, the visibility is amazing and it should last a very long time without rusting. I had a black cage previously and the thin oval bars, matte smoke finish and true vision bar alignment of the Re-Akt do make a big difference on the ice, in my opinion. I put a size Medium cage on my size Medium Bauer IMS 5.0 helmet without any sizing issues.
Original vs. Pro
Works great, love to use this in the basement when the weather is bad. From what I've read, the original handles better and stays flat compared to the pro. Your mileage may vary.
