Got these for my son, he had been using the ccm extremflex 2's but they were a little too big so we jumped down to these in a 23". The extremeflex were a lot more customizable as far as the placement of the straps. I do have to say these are easy to put on. Dislike the toe ties and that the knee velco cannot be placed down on the leg opening up the knee channel. Overall, great pads! just need more room to ensure the unique fit
