U12 AAA player

My son just completed his first season playing U12 AAA. He is not one to complain, but I noticed he was acting timid toward the end of the season. Well every time he was getting hit in the head his ears were ringing (wearing a different helmet), so he was shying away from shots. Went with the 950X because I couldn't afford the VTX, but straight out of the box this was an awesome helmet. First time wearing it he took a hard shot off the left side of his forehead (just above the cage over the left eye). He looked at me and started dancing, so I knew he didn't feel a thing! It was an instant boost to his confidence and he hasn't shied away from a shot since. Spend the money, protect the brain, keep goalies weird!!!! He was exactly 22" and the M/L fit perfectly and allows him plenty of growing room. Took less than 5 minutes to adjust the helmet and get that perfect fit.
