Great Protection, Soft Padding, Lightweight

After a fall on the tailbone, I was looking for specific padding there. I tried on a bunch of pants (CCM Tacks, Bauer, Warrior) and sat down on them in a fall motion, and none of the pants really offered substantial protection there. Then I saw these and tried them on and felt that extra cushion on the tailbone and it felt great. The pants I had before were cheap CCM Jetspeed pants, so any upgrade would feel bulkier as these do, but these are still light and I feel more comfortable taking a fall in these. There is a strange open / unpadded area in the upper inner thigh, but it seems okay for now. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for more padding in the tailbone and the ability to switch pant colors (shells) easily / cheaply.
