I wrote a lengthy review, with pictures, for the intermediate version. Check that out if anyone wants my full insight on this product. Made my stick 2 inches longer, was lighter than a wooden knob, and I can see and feel less concentrated friction on my glove palms. Takes at LEAST a week to get used to the change in your wrist angle. There is a process to getting this knob in your stick, probably longer or shorter depending on your brand, and make. Bit of a grind, BUT if the goofy looking knob extends my glove palm's life expectancy, then I'm confident in saying this is a good product. Keep in mind, my expectations were Make stick longer. Reduce the concentration of friction on my glove palms, as I don't buy cheap mitts, and I'm sentimental about my mitts. That was the end of my expectations. No clue if my shot speed went up, I don't think I can jump higher, and I had no improvement in my USAH CEP test scores. Have realistic expectations, and you'll be happy. Some grinding involved lol
Okay this thing is weird looking. I'd be willing to put money down to say this knob is not going to make me shoot harder, jump higher, or alter the multiverse. That said, this extension is lighter than a wood knob, seems to disperse the friction that cause concentrated hot spots on my glove palms, which lead to burn out holes, and RIP gloves. I needed a short extension, and I get sentimentally attached to my gloves, because I buy nice gloves. This extension will, imho, extend the life of my glove palms, and it made my stick the perfect height without being a heavy wooden plug knob. Took a week to get used to the grip, as it does slightly change the angle of your wrist. The shape makes that obvious. Every tool, and weapon our species has made, we eventually made a better grip that is anatomically a better fit. That's how I see this knob. That said, getting the knob into the sticks, involved an electric wheel grinder. "Some filing may be needed" was an understatement. Depending on the brand of your stick, using a hand file to get this knob down to where you can find tune it to fit snug, would be a great VR prison escape simulator.
Clear tape. Renfrew, so it tears off straight.
This appears to be clear hockey tape. Sticky on one side only. Seems to be quite a bit on the roll, probably several meters or feet. Tears off in a reasonably straight line, which can be unique. About an inch wide. Care should be taken to ensure after use, the nasty clear tape ball makes its' way into the waste basket, to ensure a minimum level of courtesy, as well as proof of your humanity.
