Extend A Junior Sized CCM Jetspeed Stick

I bought this extension for my son’s Junior CCM Jetspeed Stick. He grew a bit from last season, but not enough to upgrade to an intermediate stick. I used a heat gun to heat the insert side that’s covered in hot glue and then I pounded it place with a rubber mallet. Afterwards, I taped the handle as normal down past the join. It looks like a normal stick and I won’t have to worry about getting an intermediate stick for hopefully six months. My son says it’s ok, but I can see that the extension adds more strength to his passes and shots. So 5 * from me.
