Great Training, Prepare for a mess

So far, we have skated, stick handled and shot from our Synthetic Ice tiles about a dozen times. My son and I are goalies. The surface, for sliding, is great for building strength in the push. The surface, I would equate to the ice at the end of about 45 min of practice...you can slide, but there is a decent amount of resistance. With the skates, we have produced a significant amount of plastic shavings. By sliding with the goalie pads, the static produced keeps the shavings basically stuck on your equipment and clothing. My wife was not thrilled with us using them in the house! So far, we are loving the product, and should probably order more!

Vaughn chest protectors are the best out there for anyone, but especially youth. They allow movement and protection all without looking like a completely stuffed jersey.
