Best intermediate chest protector on the market

My son has worn Vaughn for several years. This season he grew out of his V8 chest pad. We tried a different style Vaughn V9 from another retail outlet. It was stiff and not near as mobile. We also tried every other brand, CCM, Bauer, etc and finally in one last ditch effort stopped by Pure Hockey in Plano TX. This is their own independent Vaughn chest pad from the normal vaughn line. This was incredibly mobile for my 12UAA goalie and has offered up great protection vs his V8. The only thing is, it does fit different. In the V8 model he was an intermediate XL. This chest fits much larger and the Large is actually a perfect fit for him. So don't think just because you were an XL in previous models, that this won't fit. Hope this helps anyone looking for a super protective high end unit that was manufactured specifically for Pure Hockey.
