A very nice upgrade from my older 4mm blade, cowling covered Bauer goalie skates. I find the thinner blade easier to push off in the butterfly. After baking and small one-punch out, these are the most comfortable skates I've ever owned. Good ankle support and they look sharp. I tried the True TF9's in wide, but they were too narrow and didn't feel as comfortable out of the box as the Bauer's
