Waist size was too big for kid in between Jr/INT

My 11yr old son wears this in a Jr. size and told me that he had felt several shots to the cup so I ordered this in intermediate. Quality is good but I wish it could adjust in the waist. He can’t wear the larger one because of the waist. Intermediate is quite a bit bigger than Jr waist.
