Poor durability, short lifespan

We bought three of these helmets for our young children, mainly because of it's price point. After 1 season (probably a total of 20 uses at most), 2 helmets broke. A large piece of Styrofoam broke off rendering the helmets useless. Frankly, we will no longer use the remaining one again anyways, as the helmets do not have any safety integrity and we refuse to put our children at risk. Being a few months over the warranty period, Bauer sent us a canned message refusing to make any sort of compensation in and told us to have a nice day. Poor quality, short lifespan, awful customer service. Would NOT RECOMMEND this product to anyone! Spend a few bucks more and go with a different brand. And as a side note, the hockey cages we purchased separately would not even attach to these helmets either.
