Good option for wider heads

My son (age 7) was having issues with helmets fitting too tightly in terms of width to the point of causing headaches. After purchasing several that seemed to work well in the store only to find out the problem persisted in practice, we went to Pure Hockey and with the help of the sales staff (and trying on more options) we landed on the Tacks 710. It has worked tremendously well - increasing the enjoyment of my son's experience with hockey. The assistance we got from the staff helped greatly in this regard! My only critique is having to spend this much on a properly fitting helmet for a first year Mite. I know that hockey gear is expensive in general, but having a model with similar fit at the $100 price point would be better. Perhaps this is more a critique of the helmet manufacturers and not Pure Hockey!
