A Mask Best Suited For The Last of The Helmet/Cage Combination Goaltenders
On the surface, this HECC certified cage seems like it would be suitable for recreational players because of its durability, but less favored by collegiate players because of its weight. But for goaltenders who absolutely hate using facemasks, this has become the only existing player cage in production (and across all manufacturers from what I can tell) which can make a helmet/cage combination conform to HECC's goalie mask standards if it were fully mounted to a certified helmet in place of J-clips. Personally speaking, I was getting tired of finding replacement parts for my old-school masks, so finding this was a blessing and is very protective. Thank you CCM for following in Jofa and Reebok's respective heritages by providing us this product.
