Perfect for Adult League

I purchased this because I hate wearing shoulder pads in my rec league, but frequently block shots or catch a stick to the ribs. I think this works great for covering the "hot spots." The first time I wore this padded shirt I did not think I would like it at all - the pads in the shirt were very stiff. After a few uses, the pads softened up (contoured to my shoulders and sides better). I didn't expect this to offer the same level of protection as shoulder pads, and it doesn't, but it saves me from those random shoulder checks and sticks to the ribs. Honestly, this is all I will wear from now on. Note: it is tricky to get off after the game, especially if it is soaked.
