Beware of red staining!

This pair has all features and amount of padding that my son wanted. The problem is that the red printed design on the interior tail bone pad (not sure what the technical term is) rubbed off and leaked through his black under layer and permanently staining all of his underpants red in that area. My guess is that sweat made the red ink bleed? My son does wear them 5 days week, but don't all hockey players sweat? We purchased these big to give him some room to grow, so that pad is not tight against his body.
