While I feel my child is protected in this piece of gear...I am unhappy with the product. The plastic clip that holds the pants in place broke the 1st time my son wore them as I tightened the belt. It just snapped right off! Everything else is so well made- why use a thin piece of plastic for the belt part? For such an expensive product, I expected better. I won’t buy this brand next year.
